Team calendar
Who is off, and when? See it at a glance
The team calendar shows approved and pending leave, public holidays and company days off together. The type of any health-related leave is hidden from colleagues.
- Monthly and two-week views
- Health-related leave shows only as “On leave”
- Subscribe in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar
Your team's leave on one screen
The calendar shows day by day who is on leave in the period you choose. Filter by location, department or team to plan work with ease.
- Month and two-week views
- Approved and pending leave are marked differently
- Half days show as morning or afternoon
Public holidays built in
Public and religious holidays come ready in the calendar. Half-day holidays, such as religious holiday eves and 28 October, are shown as holidays from 13:00.
- National and public holidays cannot be removed and are not counted as working days for leave
- Add your own company days off, such as bridge days or a company anniversary
- The holidays you see on the calendar are the same ones used to count leave days
Health information stays private
Health-related leave, such as sick leave and maternity leave, appears to colleagues only as “On leave”. Only HR, the employee and their manager can see the leave type.
- Health data is special category personal data under KVKK art. 6
- The same rule applies to iCal subscriptions
Leave in your own calendar app
Each user creates a personal iCal link and adds it to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar as a subscription by URL. The calendar app refreshes the link on its own schedule.
- Only approved leave and public and company holidays are included; pending requests are not
- Managers can include their direct reports, and HR can include all employees
- The link is secret and can be renewed or revoked at any time
- No need to connect your calendar account to İzin360 or share a password
How it works
- 1
Open the calendar
Choose a period on the team calendar and filter by location, department or team.
- 2
Create your link
Create your personal link in the calendar subscription settings and, if your role allows, include your team's leave.
- 3
Add it to your calendar app
Add the link to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar as a subscription by URL; approved leave then appears there too.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to connect our Google or Microsoft account to İzin360?
No. İzin360 never asks for access to your calendar account. You add your personal iCal link to your calendar app as a subscription by URL: in Google Calendar use Other calendars › From URL, in Outlook use Subscribe from web, and in Apple Calendar use New Calendar Subscription.
What does the calendar subscription include?
Approved and taken leave, plus public and company holidays; pending requests are not included. The subscription covers the last 90 days and the next 365 days. Health-related leave appears as “On leave” without its type.
What should I do if someone else gets hold of my subscription link?
Renew or revoke the link. When you create a new link, the old one stops working immediately; you then add the new link to your calendar app.
Will my colleagues see that I am on sick leave?
They will see that you are on leave, but not the type. Health-related leave appears to colleagues only as “On leave”; only HR, you and your manager can see the type.
When will my calendar app show changes?
Calendar apps refresh subscriptions on their own schedule, usually somewhere between 15 minutes and a few hours.
